What is Pilates?

Exercise smarter, not harder

Pilates is a different form of exercise created by Joseph Pilates, for which it was named. He also called it "contrology", emphasizing the importance of cultivating mind-body awareness. Pilates utilizes a variety of equipment to sculpt, stabilize and strengthen every muscle in the body. Anjali offers privates in mat, reformer, and arc barrel. 

 

Pilates builds strength without excess bulk, capable of creating a sleek, toned body with slender legs and a flat abdomen. It teaches good posture, body awareness, balance, stability, flexibility, agility and can alleviate pain.

 

No matter what age you are, pilates can be extremely beneficial for everyone and anyone. Get back to feeling your best self with Pilates!

What I Offer:

MORE THAN JUST PILATES

Not only does Anjali give you a full body exercise, but she also caters her lessons to what your body specifically needs. She incorporates massages, balance training, stretching, re-programming the body to move optimally, sport training, and PT based exercises to do at home. No matter your condition, Anjali can create a specialized private lesson just for you.
